Sway Bar Kits

Progress Technology anti-sway bars dramatically improve handling. How? They minimize the traction-robbing body "lean" that rolls part of the outside tires off the pavement. Our Sport-tuned Sway Bars replace skinny OEM bars and rubber bushings with larger diameter alloy steel bars and polyurethane bushigs. More roll stiffness means less body "lean", and the tires stay flatter on the pavement (larger contact patches). The result is more grip and added driver control.

 Progress Sway Bars are cold-formed in-house using our precision bending equipment. Both laser-cut and CNC bar ends are MIG welded in place using a precise fixture for an exact fit. Larger than factory sway bars are a great handling upgrade for the moeny! A stiffer sway bar works to further reduce body roll by tying together the right and left sides of the suspension. This essentially lends more wheel rate from the side that's in droop to the side that's being compressed.

Sway bars often go by a few different terms (some more correct then others). Some other names you might hear are: anti-roll bars, roll bars, or anti-sway bars. Well engineered sway bars control body roll and are not the same as strut bars or other chassis reinforcement hardware! Strut bars and chassis stiffeners do not effect body "lean".


Coil-over Systems

Competition Series I kits are steel-bodied shocks that are fully re-buildable. All components of the Series I kits are manufacturing in the US and they are re-built right here at our Anaheim facility. The aggressive tuning is ideal for superior street performance and autocross applications. Our exclusive take-apart dampers are tunable and rebuildable; in addition, the threaded steel bodies are plated with attractive corrosion-resistant electroless nickel. Another benefit of the Series I kits is that we can custom valve the dampening levels and spring rates for a wide range of specialty street & track applications such as autocross, road racing, and drag racing. The Series II kits are a sleeve-over design and they use a sealed shock. The shocks are not re-buildable and we can't fine tune the dampening levels like we can with Series I. The Series II shocks are manufactured to our specifications and replacement shocks are available through Progress for a very reasonable price. The Series II kits have been shown to handle upwards of 800 pound spring rates. If you're on a tight budget and you're looking for a good spring and shock package, you can't go wrong with the Series II kits. With no fancy knobs or colors, these coil-over kits give you everything you need and nothing you don't. If you want an out of the box kit that will transform your cars handling, look no further. Custom spring rates are available! These kits are under warranty for one year from the date of purchase. The owner must show proof of purchase for any warranty claim. We have coil-over kits available for the following applications:

Sport Springs
Sport lowering springs will significantly improve appearance and handling capability. Increased spring rates improve handling by lowering the center of gravity and reducing body roll, and the progressive spring rates help for a superior ride quality. These springs are designed to work with OEM shocks but will benefit from using high performance shocks such as Tokico, Bilstein, or Koni.

Our engineering staff has decades of experience in the design and tuning of performance suspension systems, including CART/Indy Cars, IMSA, SCCA, NASA, and SCORE competitors. These spring designs reflect our ability to develop a successful blend of appearance, handling capability, and ride quality.

Progress specifies only certified high-tensile SAE spring wire materials. Our springs are cold-wound on modern CNC coiling machines, then stress-relieved, pre-set and shot-peened for maximum durability.

These kits are covered under a Limited Lifetime Warranty (excluding finish). The owner must show proof of purchase for any warranty claim.

Alignment Kits
Progress Technology alignment kits are specifically engineering for lowered cars to help achieve optimal tire wear. Your vehicles alignment should always be checked after you have made changes to your suspension system (anti-roll bars excluded). Generally speaking, lowered cars will gain negative camber which will result in exaggerated tire wear on the inside of your tires. In addition to the negative camber gain, lowered cars will also see a toe change which can dramatically reduce tire life if it's not corrected.

Toe-in/toe-out is very critical to tire wear and should always be checked after you lower your car. The good news is that toe settings are usually factory adjustable, so you won't need to break the bank to fix it.

If you don't have the proper tools to check your alignment, please consult a professional for installation. If you don't do a proper alignment now, you will pay for it later because of excessive tire wear.
