Team Progress Vehicles
Paul Kramer 1999 Civic Si
Make: Honda
Model: Civic Si
Year: 1999
Driver: Paul Kramer
Primary Use: Open Track & High-Performance Driver's Ed events with NASA, PCA & BMW CCA
Progress Product/Service Testimonial: Thanks for putting together a great spring/shock package for my 99' Si...attached is a photo of the car from this past weekend at Mid-Ohio. Lap times dropped below two-minutes (+/- 1:55) which is both a big improvement, and also very close to/better than some of the Honda Challenge cars running on slicks with cages. Not to bad for a stock 1.6 with 97,000 mi. running on DOT tires. It truly is all in the suspension.
Vehicle Accomplishments: Consistently lower times each year as further modifications are made and experience is gained. The Progress coil-overs were good for up to a 10% reduction in lap times alone.
Modifications:
Performance:
Comptech Header & 2.5" Exhaust
AEM Cold Air with duct in bumper
Omni-Power O2 Sensor & Throttle Body
Moroso deep baffled Oil Pan with high capacity Pump
Magnacor wires & ignition
Suspension:
Progress Coil-Overs with 7" springs
A-Spec rear lower brace and 32mm adjustable rear anti-roll bar
Nuespeed upper rear Strut Brace & reinforcement
Omni-Power billet lower rear arm & adjustable Camber links/upper arms
Mugen hard rubber and poly bushings in all joints
Braking:
Wilwood four piston forged front calipers with two-piece (aluminum hat) 12.5"
Hawk black pads
Precision two-piece (aluminum hat) 12" solid rear rotors
braided stainless steel lines all around
Wilwood 600 synthetic race fluid
Interior:
Racetech floor mounted fixed driver's seat
Corbeau adjustable/tilt alcantra passenger's seat
Sparco mid-brace and harness bar

Skunk2 Shifter
Mugen pedals
Special Thanks:

King Motorsports & Precision Brakes for assistance in assembling all the parts
Sacha Clark for the inspiration and ongoing assistance with the car
and mainly my wife for indulging my habit
