PR - 2004+ Mazda RX8 Suspension Components

July 29, 2009

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Progress Group, Inc. has developed a front and rear anti-roll bar set and sport lowering springs for the 2004 to current Mazda RX8.  The front anti-roll bar is 32mm tubular (6.35mm sidewall), alloy steel and has three adjustment points.  The rear anti-roll bar is 19mm solid, alloy steel with two adjustment points.  The bars are designed for use with the OEM end-links.  The hardware includes low-deflection polyurethane bushings, new brackets, and synthetic grease.  This new anti-roll bar system will improve chassis balance, quicken steering response, and minimize body roll while cornering.  All Progress anti-roll bars are manufactured in-house, feature precision MIG-welded ends, and are powder coated metallic gray.

You might think the razor sharp stock handling along with a 9,000 RPM redline makes the RX8 invincible, but if you combine the anti-roll bars with the all-new Progress RX8 sport-lowering springs and the RWD rotary becomes a Ninja of a different caliber.  The springs feature sport-tuned rates and a modest drop of 1.2" in the front and .8" in the rear.  They have been developed for use with the OEM or sport dampers.  The springs are cold wound, shot peened, load tested, and include a lifetime warranty.
